Pure Land Ayurveda & Yoga is a holistic health care practice dedicated to sharing the beauty and wisdom of yoga and Ayurveda.

As an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, I can help you make positive, lasting changes to your health and well-being using a combination of natural therapies and holistic measures based on Yoga and Ayurveda. My services are varied and completely customized based on your individual needs as well as your specific health and wellness goals, such as sustained weight loss, improved sleep, stress management or any health condition or wellness intention that feels insurmountable and overwhelming when faced alone.

Depending on your needs and desires, I might work with you in a series of private yoga sessions or focus on making nutritional modifications as well as lifestyle and daily routine adjustments. Additional wellness recommendations might include customized herbal support, assistance in establishing a meditation practice or guidance in using aromatherapy or mantra-yoga.

Yoga and Ayurveda are very effective at addressing many common health conditions. In addition to general health and well-being, my areas of expertise include support for women experiencing significant transitions in their lives (such as pre-/post-natal, perimenopause and menopause) and help for those who suffer from anxiety, depression and excess stress.

As an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, I offer:

* Private Yoga
* Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy

* Ayurvedic Consultations

* Ayurvedic Wellness Programs
* Seasonal Cleanse Support
* Ayurvedic Bodywork

Kind Words

I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me both mentally and physically – my confidence has skyrocketed, I haven’t ever felt this physically rejuvenated – the benefits of an amazing practice are endless. So: THANK YOU.

I have been working one-on-one with Tricia in yoga instruction for the past several months, and I have seen incredible progress in both my overall abilities and my perception of the correct way to approach and achieve the poses. All of her work with me has been thoughtful, helpful, and insightful. She is an incredible resource in the Twin Cities yoga/holistic health community!

I want to tell you how much I value the way you guide us through yoga practice and give us a feel for yoga’s deeper philosophy of life even in such a short one hour per week session. To get us to calm down straight from our offices and go well beyond our stretches and balances into our breathing and our minds is simply wonderful. My yoga lesson under you is one thing I so look forward to on all my long travels and brings me relaxation even on the road. And I want to thank you for that, Tricia. You are an extraordinary teacher!

Many thanks for the interesting and informative talk on Ayurveda followed by the yoga workshop. I have been interested in and studied this subject for some time and I really liked the way you presented the whole subject. I am assuming that the way you are teaching is your own interpretation – i.e. I have not run across anything quite like it and find it very wonderful and meaningful. It seems we have generally lost the emphasis on prana in any specific way these days. Emphasizing the breath the way you were doing makes complete sense and the ‘result’ is powerful. Thanks for the excellent teachings!

Abhyanga: Warm Oil Massage

Adopting Ayurvedic lifestyle practices and making them a regular part of your self-care routine doesn’t have to be difficult. One Ayurvedic practice that I consistently recommend to my clients is abhyanga, which is a self-massage with liberal amounts of warm herbalized oil massaged into the skin from head to toe for about 15 minutes. Why […]
